47 Gibbston Back Road, Gibbston, Queenstown 9371, New Zealand

On what once was the Kawarau Station and a ram paddock for thousands of sheep, now sits our well-established vineyard and cellar door. Our purpose-built woolshed styled venue is situated amongst our vines, welcoming you and your guests with its spectacular views of the Nevis Bluff and the alpine wine region of Gibbston.

The cellar door offers rustic woolshed charm with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and vineyard with plenty of inside and outside options for wedding receptions and ceremonies. The inside space can cater for up to 50 guests while the outdoor area is able to accommodate over 100 people with an erected marquee.

Our vines offer a unique setting for your ceremony. Each season brings a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. During spring, you can expect to see refreshing budding vines. Summer time offers beautiful green foliage on the vines which rolls into amber as autumn descends. For those after an intimate winter wedding, the woolshed offers a romantic and cozy setting for candle lit receptions.

As a dry-hire venue you can make the day and venue your own with full control over styling, choice of caterers and custom installations. With venue hire you will be required to purchase a minimum quantity of Mt Rosa wines, with a choice of 9 award winning varieties and styles.

The venue is located at the eastern end of the Gibbston Valley, 30 minutes from central Queenstown (or 20 minutes from Queenstown airport). With easily accessible transport options and close proximity to accommodation providers in both Gibbston and Arrowtown.
