👋 Hi there! We're a marriage celebrant and wedding photographer team based in Queenstown and together we are Shaken & Stirred Weddings.
What do we do? We are your wedding mixologists... Like a wedding planner but with cocktails! From sourcing hire items and coordinating suppliers, to creating your timeline and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day, we've got you and your Queenstown/Wanaka wedding covered.
Who are we? Kellie (of Kellie Francis Photography) is your lady behind the lens and Charlotte (of Your Big Day) is your marriage maker. Together we're both animal lovers, gin drinkers , wedding enthusiasts, and elopement advocates.
Why choose us? Even a sweet and simple elopement can have many moving parts and various elements that require coordination and scheduling. The whole thing can easily end up in the too hard basket. So, we're here to help! We're the weirdos who love all the wedding planning stuff you hate.

Rather than us laying out the packages for you to choose from, you can DIY your own. This is more cost effective, less wasteful and more personalised to your unique wants and needs. And, it's super easy and fun.

September 1, 2022 at 6:44 pmFrom start to finish they made planning our elopement stress free, our day was relaxed and ran so smoothly we couldn’t be happier.
Kellie our photos are just absolutely stunning, you went above and beyond with everything from helping get mud out of my shoes, fluffing my train and bringing the shoulder wrap to make sure I didn’t freeze! You made us feel so comfortable with lots of laughs and the most natural looking poses we cannot stop looking at them (yes the slide show is on repeat).
Charlotte thank you so much for matching us with Ellie! She tailored our ceremony to us so perfectly adding in our little quirks, laughter and keeping the whole thing laid back which suited us perfectly.
We loved working with the whole team, adding what we wanted to make the perfect cocktail elopement and not having to organise any of it was one of the many highlights of Shaken and stirred. Love, love, loved our day and hope to see you in 10 years for the vow renewal!!!

July 28, 2021 at 11:10 amWords can not even begin to describe how grateful and thankful we are for both Charlotte and Kellie; not only for delivering the best possible service in their individual professions, but for coming together as wedding planners, organising the whole thing, and ensuring that we had the MOST PERFECT wedding day!
As our celebrant, Charlotte delivered the most BEAUTIFUL ceremony, it was individual, and specific to us. It brought on lots of laughter, and a few tears, and it was so special how it so accurately represented my husband and I as a couple; she truly makes the ceremony your own.
Aside from that she was fun and vibrant with a smile from ear to ear. This isn’t a job for Charlotte, this is her passion, and she showed it through her words and actions. It was such a blessing to have her as part of our ceremony to share our excitement.
As for Kellie, WOW, she captured our special moments PERFECTLY. The whole time she guided and directed us with poses and locations, which really alleviated all uncomfortability and uncertainty on ‘what to do, and where to go’ as usually, I’m not very confident behind someones camera, but we felt so content behind Kellie’s.
When we got our ‘sneak peek’ images back, all I can say was O-M-G we were GOBSMACKED! Even to the point where I was like “Wait is that us!?”.
It’s hard to explain, but when you put your trust in Kellie to be your photographer, you will look at your images and you will know exactly what I mean.
They. Were. Perfect!
My favourite part with Kellie, was not feeling like ‘you’re on the clock’, she will do whatever it takes to capture your day, and she will most certainly go the extra mile to give you the most special memories to last you a lifetime.
Aside from their individual contributions, the combination of C&K as our wedding planners was nothing short of a miracle.
They. Did. Everything.. (and FYI, they planned this WHOLE WEDDING in 9 WEEKS!)
As a bride, all you can hope and pray for is the most stress free and easy planning for your big day, these ladies made that happen.
They booked EVERYTHING I asked for, liaised with all of the vendors, picked up the flowers, dropped off signage, seriously.. everything. The only thing I did was tell them what I wanted, and showed up on the day, and they absolutely nailed it!
Our day was perfect, and I owe every single bit of it to C&K.
Charlotte and Kellie don’t just have ‘a job’, these ladies have a PASSION.
They don’t just deliver a service, they go ABOVE and BEYOND to give you everything you could possibly want and need for your big day. They made it fun, enjoyable and will do WHATEVER it takes to ensure you can have your big day EXACTLY how you want it.
I can assure you, if you put your full trust in Charlotte and Kellie your biggest worry will be deciding what colour nails you want, and whether or not you packed your cuff links
