As a Pride Pledge supporter the Queenstown Wedding Association is committed to supporting improved visibility, unquestionable inclusion, and absolute safety for the LQBTTQI+ community. We carefully consider the language, imagery and video content used on our website and across all social media platforms to promote diversity and avoid othering anyone.
All Queenstown Wedding Association members have regular access to the Rainbow Awareness Training provided by Pride Pledge and many given wonderful feedback about this valuable learning experience.
Some individual businesses within the Queenstown Wedding Association have gone a step further in becoming official Pride Pledge supporters themselves and you might notice the rainbow badge proudly displayed on their page within our website.
Queenstown Pride Weddings
All couples across the LGBTTQI+ community are legally able to marry in New Zealand, but the wedding community in Queenstown is especially welcoming. The Queenstown Wedding Association and our members are consistently striving to understand the unique experiences of the rainbow community in order to provide the best wedding experience to all couples and their guests.
Our Professional Standards Guidelines explicitly state that we have a zero tolerance policy on discrimination of any kind and a committment to continued professional development as we understand that there is always more work and more learning to be done.
