1. Why do you think couples should choose a Queenstown wedding?
Queenstown is full of natural beauty and is a place that everyone wants to visit. There is so much to do around the town that it is easy to turn your wedding day into a week long celebration full of local activities, food and beverage. You’ll soon find that vendors here in Queenstown work together a lot so you can rest assured we will have every aspect of your special day nailed!
2. What’s the best season for a Queenstown wedding?
Any time of the year is a great time for a Queenstown wedding. Most couples choose the summer months to take advantage of the longer sunshine hours. Winter is absolutely stunning with snow-capped mountains and the chance to find a venue with a nice cosy fireplace for your guests to enjoy. Queenstown has many sunny days in every season, so the choice is really up to you.
3. Tell us the most unique/interesting thing you’ve seen at a Queenstown wedding…
I have to admit we have seen a lot, but the favourite has to be the married couple jumping off the Kawarau Bridge Bungy together in their wedding attire. Quintessential Queenstown!
4. What is your favourite Queenstown restaurant or cafe?
I am one that likes to meet up with friends, so I like places with dishes you can share. Madam Woo and White & Wong’s are two places I try and get to as often as possible and share a few dishes amongst friends.
5. Tell us a random fact about yourself…
I moved to Queenstown in 2017 after spending 13 years in Australia. My thinking was “where can I live in NZ where my friends I have made around the world will want to come and visit me?” And now I never want to leave!
