We recently caught up with the Queenstown Sergios Suit Hire team to find out what makes their service so special.
1. Why get married in Queenstown?
The unique and dramatic landscape makes for amazing wedding pics and breath taking views for everyone! The vast range of beautiful wedding venues, activities and bars/restaurants here makes for a great wedding and holiday destination for the wedding party.
2. What is the best season to get married in Queenstown?
It’s hard to pick as you can get so much here from each season; The backdrop for wedding photos changes so dramatically between seasons and they are all stunning; Spring the beautiful pink blossoms, Summer the blue skies against the lake and the green covered mountains, Autumn the most amazing autumnal trees and Winter the snow-capped mountains. And each season has many different activities to offer from Ski-ing to jet boating and wine tasting to horse trekking in the warmer months.
3. What is the most interesting thing that you have seen at a wedding?
A helicopter wedding! There is nothing more thrilling and unique about getting a helicopter flight up to the top of one of our beautiful mountains and saying your “I do’s” at the top!
4. What is your favourite place to eat in Queenstown?
Queenstown has a wonderful variety of cuisines and restaurants to try but if we had to pick one favourite it would have to be ‘Blue Kanu’. The exotic décor, vibrant atmosphere, welcoming staff and of course the amazing Pacifica/Asian food blend really gives you the feeling you’re in your own tropical paradise! We love it!
5. Tell us a random fact about yourself?
We’ve all had a big change of career since moving to Queenstown. Holly was a Veterinary nurse, Kirstie a geography teacher and Des worked in photography! Now we all spend our time making sure the men of Queenstown are looking dapper!
