What is really nice about hosting these types of occasions is that we feel so privileged to share these special times with our guests. We love curating bespoke and unique cocktail menus and personalising Little Blackwood’s unique space to suit each couple. Combined with ‘that view’, arguably one of THE best in town and our signature service, guests are guaranteed to feel at ease.
Our team lives and breathes hospitality and any request is never too much. From the events department to our bartenders, everyone understands, these are once in a lifetime moments, worthy of only the best.

What wedding trends are you loving right now?
‘Destination weddings’ are definitely a trend we’re loving as it brings couples to Queenstown that are looking for a great time and that is what we are famous for!
Planners who create a full itinerary for their guests is also a great trend, as our venue fits the ticket for a range of options. From welcome drinks for everyone to mix, mingle and get to know each other before the big day, to recovery sessions the day after – Little Blackwood’s specialty!
We’ve also noticed that classic is back, and that suits us perfectly. We pride ourselves on doing things with great attention to detail, leading with exceptional service and quality products. A perfect ‘marriage’ of aspects that never goes out of style.

For something a little different, we offer a ‘Fire and Ice’ Package that has you starting the night next door at Minus 5° ICE BAR for the coolest drinks in town. You’ll be absorbed into a world crafted purely of ice, including hand carved ice sculptures. Even their famous cocktails are served in glasses made entirely of ice! Then head to Little Blackwood to warm up and keep the party going with exceptional drinks, a local buzz and live music nightly (available on request for private hire).
Our unique and inviting space can be tailored to your vision. Theme it as you dream it! We personally blend specialty syrups and infuse a range of liqueurs.
