Italian Way Food Truck offers a fully mobile catering service across New Zealand and serve authentic Italian style pizza made with fresh, flavoursome ingredients.

Established in 2019, Italian Way has quickly become popular amongst locals and tourists.

We can provide mobile catering for all types of functions (weddings, birthdays or special occasions). A full catering menu is available, but we also welcome special requests and suggestions.

About Us

We are Tommy and Mattia, the faces and minds behind the Italian Way project. We both come from northern Italy, from the region around Lake Garda and Lake Como, so settling in the Queenstown Lakes district was just natural for us!

Queenstown is where we met back in 2017, after we had both travelled briefly around New Zealand. Our friendship grew very quickly and so did our love for this amazing country and the desire to stay longer.

That’s when the idea of Italian Way popped up. Our passion for Italian food, our expertise in baking and cooking, and our love for travelling was the perfect cocktail for a food truck!!!

Since then we have been busy serving our pizza and Italian delicacies all around the South Island!
